Every Tuesday beginning
September 1, 2009 through May 25, 2010 except December.

Beginning dance lesson is from 7:00-7:40 pm and the intermediate lesson is
from 7:50-8:30 pm followed by open dancing. There will be a 10 minute practice
session on the dance being taught between the lessons. Dancers are welcome to attend both
sessions. Lessons for each month are as follows: Oct-Rumba, Nov-Cha Cha

| November 14, 2009 Ron Warren Band: A frequent performer for the Tempo Club this band delivers both new and traditional numbers in a great dance format. Ron and his sax playing wife Cheri are both dancers (and members of the Cambridge Social Dance Club) and it shows in the music. | |
| December 12, 2009 Vince Villanova Big Band from Pittsburgh, PA: You can hear them play at dances in the Pittsburgh area, and they are a favorite at the Oglebay Resort in Wheeling. Get ready for a classic night of big band dance music. | |

The Mid Ohio Valley Shaggers Dance Club 6th Annual “Pinin’ for the Summer” dance
weekend
Grand Pointe Convention Center, Vienna, WV
Friday night the 30th from 7-11 PM there will be an “Oldies Beach Party” open to
anyone who wants to come have a good time and dance to some great “Beach,
Boogie, Rhythm and Blues” music provided by ABSCDJ’s Tim Miller and Randy
Kinsolving. Admission is $5.00/ each.
Saturday afternoon at 2PM, there will be Carolina Shag dance instruction by
Kevin and Dee Twohig of Charleston, WV, followed by open dancing, dinner at
5:30PM, and dancing again from 7-11PM to music provided by Tim and Randy. Cost
is $45.00/each for non shag club members, $40.00/each for club members. Friday
nights admission is included if you sign up for Saturdays’ festivities!
There will be a cash bar both Friday and Saturday nights.
